25 New Jobs to be Created

Many Fabrication & Engineering successful with NSW Government’s Regional Job Creation Fund Grant

Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson has announced Many Fabrication & Engineering has been selected as one of the businesses successfully applying for the NSW Governments’ Regional Job Creation Fund. The Regional Job Creation Fund supports eligible businesses with grants to purchase new equipment, expand facilities, acquire technology, create new production lines or establish businesses in regional NSW that support sustainable employment opportunities.

The new fabrication facility is to be completed in 2022 and is set to generate an additional 25 new sustainable jobs in the Gunnedah region. Glenn Many, Owner and General Manager has said “The grant funding awarded to the company, will support the surrounding industries in our own backyard, with the intention that capacity will increase and offer opportunities to diversify. The facility will allow larger projects, additional work bays, specialised equipment and 2 overhead gantry cranes”.

The company is offering apprenticeships and traineeships to the youth of Gunnedah. “We understand the importance of offering the opportunity to our community. I completed my boilermaker apprenticeship here in Gunnedah myself.” Glenn said. “We need to give back, encourage the next generation of tradespeople and offer the opportunities that get them to stay. At the moment we service our industries here in Gunnedah, but we have plans of showing our team the opportunities across NSW and beyond”. Work that would usually go outside of our community’s economy, will be able to stay here and support not only our company but our workers and their families.

Many Fabrication & Engineering is actively seeking new applicants to apprenticeships, traineeships, tradespeople, project managers and supervisors.
